The Power of the Side Hustle

Many women have taken the plunge and started their own side business selling all things from makeup, fitness products, oils, clothes, moisturizers, and more. I love seeing women connect with positive people who are trying to make a better life for themselves and want to help you make some cash!

These people also help you get out of their comfort zone and teach you the importance of having a business. I know it sucks reaching out to old friends, strangers and family members to buy whatever it is you have. It isn’t easy doing this. However, my advice...KEEP GOING!

What I love is that you meet like minded people along the way that will encourage, boast your confidence and make you feel alive and important again. These companies get a lot of heat because most people don’t like being “sold”. What some of these people don’t understand is that even though you may not have a passion for face moisturizer, the selling of something is way more than just selling face products. You are trying to create a better life for yourself.

I don’t know the correct statistics, but most people strongly dislike their 9 to 5 grind or are stay-at-home moms who want to have a life outside of their kids. They take on these side hustles for many reasons and most companies will strongly have you focus on your “why”.

Keep doing this. Write it down everyday. Visualize yourself on the stage speaking to hundreds of women who want to be YOU. It feels good doesn’t it? Get out of your comfort zone and never leave there. Keep going and going and don’t listen to the haters… these are people who are jealous because they can’t do what you do.

You will learn so much about business structures and your mindset on life. You probably have a slew of motivational quotes in your notebook from your last business call. Your mindset is what will keep you going.

Build a team of women who are your tribe. Be there for them. Build them up. Have sleepovers and wine nights. Whatever it is, have friends who build you up not bring you down. You need them. They need you.

Look ahead with blinders on. Don’t focus on your friend who doesn’t want to do it anymore or didn’t make it. You have what it takes. Keep going, keep going, keep going!

I have a lot to thank for my previous side hustle. I learned a ton of things about business and met some great people along the way.

If you don’t want to sell those certain products, but you know you have what it takes to create a business, then let’s start focusing on that. You now have the fundamentals of how to start a business, what makes you think you can’t create something for yourself? Your side hustle has taught you what you are good at and more importantly, what you don’t want to do. Let’s brainstorm. DM me.
