I am my true self when ______?
Often times with kids, family, jobs, LIFE we get turned around. Where did I go? What happened to me?
You are not alone. I had so many days when I felt lost, uninspired and unfulfilled. I stopped bettering myself and felt guilty every time I wanted to do something alone or for myself. We ladies sure know how to make ourselves feel like crap with "mommy guilt".
I understand that each person is unique and this may be "ineffective" at first, but hear me out. If you are soooooo far gone and your anxiety levels are freakin high and you are making everyone crazy that comes into contact with you, you definitely need to take some steps into figuring out what may work for you. YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE! :)
Here are 3 things you can do RIGHT NOW to be in more alignment with your true self.
1 - Research ONE thing you’ve always wanted to do..try...whatever! Maybe an Italian cooking class? Wine tasting club? Spanish lessons? SIGN UP!
2 - Read! I know, soooo not fun! Ha! But really, grab a spicy romance novel or self help book you’ve been dying to start but never got around to it. Don’t read something you have ZERO interest in. Use your imagination. Knowledge is power!
3 - ALONE TIME! Don’t be scared to hangout with yourself. You will learn a lot about YOU when you hangout with YOU!
Your life is so important and the people around you want what's best for you. Take it one day at a time. Start taking some steps into a BETTER YOU. You deserve to feel GREAT about who you are and what you do each day. That is why we are alive. We should be living HAPPY and FULFILLING lives.
